On November 4, 2024, the Producing in the Nordics Mixer was held at the Finnish Consul General’s residence in Bel Air, Los Angeles, showcasing Nordic film and TV production excellence to the international market. The event brought together over 110 industry influencers, including 40 representatives from major U.S. studios and production companies such as Netflix, Amazon Studios, Marvel Studios, and Lionsgate.

Los Angeles, as the world’s entertainment hub where major production decisions are made, provided the perfect stage for Nordic visibility in the global film and TV industry. The Producing in the Nordics event offered a unique opportunity to highlight the region’s strengths, including internationally competitive production incentives, advanced technology, and outstanding collaborative capabilities.

The event featured keynote speeches, company showcases, and live music by Tuomo & Markus, creating an inspiring yet relaxed atmosphere. Finnish companies including Yellow Film, Solar Films, Fire Frame Studios, and VFX Helsinki had the opportunity to present their expertise to international decision-makers.

The event was jointly organized by Film in Finland, the Norwegian Film Commission, and the Swedish Institute in collaboration with their Los Angeles consulates. Media Minds’ Hanna Vuorinen coordinated the event, ensuring the Nordic countries presented themselves as a unified and compelling entity.
